India Budget 2021: Capital Outlay

india budget

Economics:

February 3, 2021

Overview:

Along with various announcements and the confusing language of the budget, are the documents that give allotment to different ministries, and Public enterprises.  This article gives capital layout of various industries given in the budget.

Issues:

It is very important to see Actual, Budgeted and Realized for same year to see efficiency of budget spending for any Ministry. Budgeted allotment to any ministry is based on realized budget and the policy of the government. If the government says that they want to focus on an area, but doesn’t allot money, or not spend after allotment, there is discord between words and actions. One must look at budget documents in detail.
