3. मध्यप्रदेश के रतलाम में गुरुवार सुबह पाइप गोदाम में भीषण आग लग गई। दो घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद 7-8 दमकल की गाड़ियों ने आग पर काबू पाया। प्लास्टिक पाइप का यह गोदाम मोहन नगर क्षेत्र में रिहायशी इलाके और एक पेट्रोल पंप के पास था। एहतियातन गोदाम के आसपास के कुछ घरों को खाली करा लिया गया था। राहत की बात ये है कि हादसे में कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ। Bhaskar
4. केंद्र ने आतंकवाद और सीमा पार से अपराधों पर लगाम लगाने के मकसद से सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF) का अधिकार क्षेत्र बढ़ा दिया है। BSF अब पाकिस्तान और बांग्लादेश से लगी अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पर भारतीय क्षेत्र के अंदर 50 किमी तक तलाशी अभियान चला सकेगी। साथ ही संदिग्धों को गिरफ्तार करने और संदिग्ध सामग्री को जब्त करने का भी अधिकार होगा। इसके लिए उसे किसी प्रशासनिक अधिकारी से परमिशन लेने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। Bhaskar
